Catch the Transformers Autobots in 1 Utama this School Holiday!

Great time to see the Autobots and grab a chance to take home a toy set worth RM249!

Are you a Transformers fan? Which one is your favorite? And if you’re not, what about your child or kids? Wait a minute…who doesn’t like the Transformers? I’m an 80’s child and the Transformers was part of my childhood. Yep, I’m a gal and some might think that it’s only boys who’d like the Autobots and Deceptions and all the fights but who doesn’t like the concept of robots that can fight and protect you, play around, have some fun and, most of all, turn into cars or jets? I even had an Optimus Prime toy back then! And guess what, now that I have a son, it’s even more fun to play with Transformers toys. He loves Bumblebee, modern Camaro style.

Now that school holidays are officially in, this is the great time for us to visit 1 Utama and relive the Transformers experience. The robot-aliens are making an appearance in 1 Utama, started 25th May and running until 5th June 2016 at the Centre Court of Old Wing. If in case you get confused like me on where is Old and New, Old Wing is the Isetan side, New Wing is the Parkson side. Hate driving or parking? I’d Uber or Grab it.

Time to meet and see the Autobots!

Date : 25 May – 5 June 2016
Time : 10:00am – 10:00pm
Venue : Ground Floor, Centre Court (Old Wing), 1 Utama Shopping Centre

  • The Dynamic 5 Challenge
  • Fastest Fingers Challenge
  • Photo-taking with 10-ft tall Bumblebee and Optimus Prime
  • Chevrolet Camaro model in display
  • Specials for One Card members
  • Display of Collectors’ and Limited Edition figures

Loved the Chevrolet Camaro from the movie? See the beautiful car until 5th June on display. Only five of these cars are known to exist in the country, making the car’s display in 1 Utama a rare opportunity.

Kids can purchase exclusive Transformers merchandise and look forward to a lineup of exciting activities at the roadshow to have fun during the holidays. These include the Fastest Fingers Challenge in which children 8-12 years old can participate with a minimum purchase of RM120 in two receipts. The challenge will require them to assemble a complete Transformers combiner figure in the fastest time possible. The winner of each session of the challenge, which takes place over the weekends during the roadshow period, will take home a Generations Combiner Leader figure worth RM249.90.

With a minimum purchase of RM80 in two receipts, children aged 5 to 12 have the chance to bring out their inner Transformer character in the Dynamic 5 Challenge. Designed to promote teamwork and leadership, this activity is centred around Transformers characters Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Grimlock and Strongarm. Everyone emerges a winner in this activity as participants will receive a Transformers gift upon completion.

Kids have the opportunity to have their photo taken with a live-sized 10-feet Bumblebee and Optimus Prime statues in front of a cinematic Transformers visual background.

One Card members who arrive at the scene early can have their children participate in these activities and contests without a minimum purchase. However, these are limited to 50 children per day on a first come first serve basis.

Adult fans are also not excluded from the roadshow as there will be a special display consisting of collectors’ and limited edition figure over the course of the roadshow period.
